Life of Pi is a film that you don’t just enjoy, but you learn many lessons from it. A young boy has gone through everything and now relies on his soulmate to survive.
This film involves lots of different subjects. Like religion. Pi decides to believe in every religion which could be a good move. Also, survival is a key subject. It teaches us how to cope after terrible events.
It might seem funny but Life of Pi is very similar to the book ‘the tiger that came to tee’. The personalities of the two tigers are very similar. It is also an emotional roller coaster for the audience as well as the characters.
This is a good film for a family to watch as it can teach us all lessons for life and that it is a bit funny. I would recommend this film to everyone as everyone will learn a lesson from it and that it is an amazing story line. I would rate the film a 9 out of 10. This was a good film and if I could watch it again, it will definitely be a yes from me.

Nice starting paragraph although it would be better to have started with a logline and then this. final paragraph is a good conclusion but would be better with a more distinctive conclusion for those who are too lazy too read the whole thing! Using an overall number of stars that it would have and title secribing a snapshot of what you think the film is like would make the structure more formal and look like a real review.

It is very good that you used a comparison to another story. You did well to talk about the subjects of the film.
You could’ve gone into further detail on each of the things you talked about and also talked about actors and the director. Remember that it is legal to give away parts of the story too.

Hello Harry,
I agree with both of these comments – you have some good ideas here and you have begun to cover some good ground; some points are underdeveloped.
Perhaps try re-arranging your structure and then developing some points. Alternatively, the advice of bothe Harry S and Barnaby is sound.
Thanks,
Mr North
