How has Shakespeare shown Antonys reaction to caesars murder?
In act 3, scene 1, Antony discovers about Caesars death. Shaplkespear uses alot of figurative language to show Antonys reaction to the death of Caesar.
“O, pardon me, thou bleeding piece of earth”.
This quote suggests that Antony believes that Caesar was so powerful, he was seen as part of the earth and that he will always be there. William Shakespeare used a metaphor to make it sound that he still believes that he is his leader.
