How is Caesar’s hubris used against him?

In Scene 2, Act 2, Caesar is at his house with his wife Calpurnia. Calpurnia has just persuaded Caesar to stay home because she was having bad dreams. However, the senats are planning to get caesar to go to them. This is because they are planing to assasinate him. The senats uses Decius Brutus to change Caesars mind. His does this by using Caesar’s hubris against him.

‘Most mighty Caesar, let me know some cause, lest i be laugh’d at when i tell them so.’
Decius uses his pride of being powerful against him to try and persuade him to leave. He also uses Calpurnias excuse of having bad dreams to say that she was lying.

    Harry,

Why aren’t you analysing the figurative language?
