How does lee use details in this passage to present Miss Maudie’s view of Matcomb?

In this passage, Miss Maudie says that ‘we’re so rarely called on to be Christians, but when we are, we’ve got men like Atticus to go for us.’
This states that Miss Maudie thinks that Maycomb County is isolated from everywhere in America. I believe that she also thinks that Maycomb is racist and can be improved

    Hello Harry,

You have immediately begun this by focussing on your interpretations of the text – these are strong assertions.

What you must now do is to justify your interpretations by using further details from the text to support your work.

Look back at our notes from yesterday’s lesson to see how you might do this.
