Mutants Fight Back!!!!!

When I moved into the new house in Waknuk, I was scared and nervous as I didn’t know anyone in town. My mum and dad was very anxious because we ran away from the last house as someone saw me with my shoes and socks off on the beach and so he spread the story as quick as lightning to everyone in the city. I thought it was ok to be like me and only have four toes on each foot as i was young but obviously it was not. Everyone was picking on me and shouting at my family saying, “you shouldn’t be here, you should be forgotten when you was first seen when she was born.

Anyway I’m now twelve years old and I know a lot more now and I disagree with the fact that mutants have to be forgotten when they are born as they have a life and they are still human beings. I have now found some friends who are the exactly like me and we are angry. But we aren’t going to just watch them kill mutants and give away them, no.
We are going to do something about it. But we’re not sure how.

I told my parents that we are going to do something about the problem. They did not approve the situation and grounded me from going out to see my friends.
I didn’t do much when I was grounded but I was relieved when banned was over so I could go out but that was soon to become a bad idea…

I was playing football outside with my class at school when I went to kick the ball and my shoe flew off and landed on the other side of the pitch. Everyone laughed at me as I fell over. I panicked and rushed over to get my shoe. But then the good footballers in my class picked the shoe up and started to chuck it around. I was nervous. I tried to get it but I was just too small to reach for it. I was running around for the shoe until someone stepped on my toes and made them bleed. I screamed. She was really scared as she accidentally stepped on my toes and might be told off. She was urging me to take off my sock as it would not stop bleeding. I said no to them but they wanted to help me anyway so they forced it off. First of all everyone thought that my toe fell off and they were frightened. But my mate wiped off all the blood off the end of my foot and there was no bone sticking out. Everyone screamed and ran. I thought that it was happening again and I was angry with myself.

I ran home and told my parents that we have to run away as everyone knew about the secret but it was too late. They knew and everyone wants to hunt them down. That ran away as far as they could but the news spread to the next towns.

I went to go hide in a bush as there was a car behind us who was following us.i hearted a lot of what they said to my parents.
“Where is she” they said.
“We did not bring her and you don’t need to know anything about her anyway” my dad replied.
“Your lying, where is she.”they said anxiously.
“Not here”my mum said .
After them words there was a silence and then…
‘BANG”BANG’
Two gun shots but no words. I ran out and shouted at them. They were the last words I heard from my parents. I felt as though I wanted to kill the person who shot them. I couldn’t stop crying as I would not see them again.
“It was all my fault, why did it happen to me.

A couple days later, I heard that there was a slight change to the law about mutants when born after the tragic accident to my parents. I was a little happier but still lonley. They could not kill any baby’s when born as it was human rights. Then I was offered to be he campaigns leader for the rights of mutants and I was given a home which cheered me up a lot.
